As a resident physician in the US with a demanding work schedule, getting married to an equally busy resident physician, planning a large Punjabi wedding was a very daunting task. When we started planning our engagement party everyone told us we had to take a flight to India in order to get a unique outfit of good quality. What can I say about Dave that hasn’t been already said? From the very beginning Dave was amazing, we felt like we were talking with our trusted friend rather than just another vendor. We had come in with a budget and sketch of what we wanted and our colour theme. Dave was patient, he listened and asked questions about what we were looking for. He made some suggestions about the colours but we ultimately decided to stick to our theme. We talked about the various embroideries, fabrics, and designs. Dave was very knowledgeably and explained all the different aspects we had overlooked. We decided on the final design and confirmed the wedding outfits. Fast forward a couple months we decided to change our wedding colours. Having to make minor changes to wedding outfits is usually an issue so we could only imagine that changing the colour would be difficult. We were expecting to be told that it was too late to change the colour and it couldn’t be done but we went and talked to Dave about the colour change and he didn’t even hesitate to make the change. We were really surprised at how easy and simple Dave made the changes for us. It speaks to Dave’s professionalism, customer service and flexibility. Dave never pressured us to stick with the original colours or try to substitute one of the outfits off the rack. He was very understanding with the change and made sure we were happy. Now all we could was wait. We would message Dave every now and then for updates and he was very good at responding keeping us updated. My husband being from out of town meant that we had to make sure that his outfit was ready when he was here. Dave was very accommodating with our schedule and made sure the outfit was ready for him. When we got the wedding outfits we were blown away! The outfits were perfectly as we had envisioned, from the fabric to the embroidery, every detail we had described to Dave was there in our outfits. Dave was able to take our outfit ideas from a sketch and turn it into our real life dream wedding outfits. There’s nothing more to say other than Dave truly is amazing at what he does and that he makes wedding dreams come true. There is no competition that comes close to Dave.
After seeing our amazing wedding outfits, my husband wanted to get his reception outfit made from Dave as well. Now that the dust has settled, I just wanted to take a moment to thank Dave and the Wellgroomed team. Dave and the girls were warm, genuine and professional while being personal at the same time. Dave, you have my sincerest appreciation for the amount of time and energy you put into making the outfits exactly how I wanted them, from nailing the shade of the colour to the details in the embroidery. I wanted something unique, something that was contemporary while being traditional at the same time. Both pieces you created were gorgeous – and honestly, your work speaks for itself. Other than the quality of the garmets, Wellgroomed’s level of customer service and professionalism sets it apart from other boutiques. I left the consultation feeling confident in Dave’s expertise and ability to deliver exactly what I asked for. Being such a high maintenance client, I appreciated being updated with the progress of the outfit, by sketches and samples of the fabric and embroidery. Wellgroomed provided a realistic timeline and most importantly, stuck with it. There was one hiccup with the measurements on my Husband’s unchkin, but even that situation was handled with utmost professionalism. There were no ifs, no buts, no excuses or fuss. And there was certainly no delay in resolving the problem right away. Even though Dave was in India at the time with limited internet access, he personally contacted my husband to apologize and made an entirely new piece without hesitation. He expedited the process so we had it at least a week in advance of the wedding festivities and didn’t have to worry about it the week of.
One last thing I have to mention: over multiple interactions with Dave, I noted how he addressed every client in his store with the same polite demeanor, regardless of whether they were spending a couple hundred on an outfit, or bridal clients spending thousands. His humility and integrity, coupled with his work ethic says a lot about his character. Dave is genuinely such a nice person to work with - you’ll want to let him create a piece for you on that basis alone! I knew from the moment I got engaged that when it came to my wedding outfits, I would be heading to Wellgroomed and they did not disappoint. Both my lenghas for my wedding and reception were custom orders and with the help from Dave and his team, I ended up with outfits far greater than I had even imagined. From day one, Dave was easy and fun to work with and made me feel very comfortable. I showed Dave a picture of a lengha that I had fallen in love with online and he assured me that he would be able to custom order the same for me. What I liked about Dave was that although I had a picture of exactly what I wanted, he worked with me to tweak that lengha so that it would look good on me and my body type. I trusted Dave completely and when my lengha came in and I tried it on, I fell in love and did not want to take it off again! For my reception, I had mentioned to Dave that I wanted to wear gold and he did not disappoint. Again, I trusted him and his vision and my reception lengha was nothing short of magical. I know this is long overdue but I wanted to thank you and the Wellgroomed Team for creating my customised wedding outfit exactly as I had envisioned. When my Anarkali arrived, it was even more beautiful than I had ever imagined. The shade of red was exactly what I saw myself wearing on my wedding day. My Anarkali fit like a glove and I loved every moment I spent in my outfit (I actually regretted removing it after the day was over) :) The attention to detail, especially the embroidery on the kameez was fantastic. I received many compliments on the day and it will forever be my favourite outfit.
One of the hardest things for a bride is to pick out her wedding outfit. An even harder task is finding someone to bring her vision to life. And to do all this online from all the way in Western Australia without speaking to anyone in your team was scary (and I was sceptical) but I am so happy with the results. I felt stunning and gorgeous on my wedding day and to see my husband’s jaw drop when he saw me for the first time at our Anand Karaj was definitely another highlight :) Thank you for bringing my vision to life, making me feel like Royalty on my wedding day and making the process stress-free with your understanding, patience and professionalism. We weren’t able to go to Pakistan for my wedding lengha but Dave was able to deliver intricate Pakistani inspired embroidery which is very difficult to accomplish!

When I first came in, I saw a piece that I LOVED but the beadwork was a bit too heavy for me. Dave suggested an alternate design using silk brocade and a pearl trim. He didn't have an example of the fabric in the show room and said "You have to trust me". Having a look around the showroom, I felt confident that he would choose something along the lines of what i had in mind. I had no idea what to expect when I saw the final product, it was beyond my expectations. When I tried it on the fit was almost exact. Dave's incredible seamstress made some very small adjustments in about 10 minutes and it was perfect.
All the staff here are so friendly and welcoming and I could spend hours here just admiring each unique piece in the showroom. Dave's designs are true works of art and highest quality craftsmanship. I am proud to be wearing an original Dave Singh creation on my wedding day! Thank you Dave and your entire staff!
Working with Dave, I was able to create unique looks for each of my events - engagement, wedding day, and reception. What really stood out for me was that when I visited other boutiques in the area, people would shove their opinion of what I should wear at me vs. listening to what I really liked. Dave actually listens to you! At the initial consultation, Dave just listened to my best friends and I chat and came forward with options that he felt would work, it was amazing and so refreshing. I can't thank you enough for making such a beautiful dress for my reception in a short notice. You've been incredibly helpful and understanding with my situation when I had originally went to India for my wedding shopping and my reception outfit was messed up. But I'm kind of glad that happened, despite all the headache and stress I had to go thru... Last year, while shopping for my sister's wedding, I walked into Wellgroomed with a generic idea and confused between 2 outfits that I wanted. After listening to what I wanted and liked from each outfit, Dave combined the aspects I loved from both and created an amazing sketch - that I could not wait to see in person. Once I saw the sketch I knew that that was the outfit that I was picturing the entire time and he got it bang on - without me asking for any changes to be made.
The moment my mom, sister and I saw the outfit we were speechless as to how gorgeous it looked. I was always told that the actual outfit never looks like the sketch but that was wrong.
