Seamstress - Alterations

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

Please note this is a full-time position.
Must have a flexible schedule, may work some weekends and evenings.
Must have a minimum of three-five years of relevant experience, preferably working with indian wear.
Able to complete alterations in a timely and accurate manner.
Possess a professional demeanour, and have excellent communication skills.
Enjoy working in a team oriented environment, maintain energy and positivity, and have the ability to multi-task in a high pressure environment.
Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities.
Punctuality is an imperative and you must have an incredible work ethic.


Skills Summary:

Capability to work with beading or other special fabrics.
Knowledge of fine fabric (silk, linen, etc.).
Full knowledge of the complete alterations process is required by hand sewing and sewing machine.
Ability to work with all alterations equipment (sewing machines, pressers, etc.) appropriately and safely.
